​Liz Kosack is a synthesizer player and mask maker based in Berlin. She has performed with countless collaborators in experimental music scenes in Europe, New York, and worldwide. With mask and visual works, she creates and supersedes issues of identity. As a synthesist, her singular work pursues organic expression, pushing the capabilities of electronic instruments. ​​​​

TAU
Based between Cologne and Berlin-Neukölln, TAU (formerly TAU5) is a boundary-pushing jazz quintet featuring Moritz Baumgärtner (drums), Philipp Gropper (sax), Philip Zoubek (keys), Ludwig Wandinger (electronics), and Felix Henkelhausen (bass). Blending avant-garde jazz with electronic and ambient influences, their music is in constant evolution-both structured and fluid, futuristic yet deeply rooted.
TAU treats sound as suspended time-neither rooted in tradition nor bound for resolution. Rather than fixed compositions, they generate a system of gestures, ruptures, and sonic residues.
Structure dissolves as quickly as it forms. Melody drifts, fragments echo and reassemble. Acoustic and electronic elements blur into a space where causality falters and form remains fluid.
This is not performance but process-a sonic archaeology of the present, where sound exists without destination, charged by what remains unresolved.
